Things I think make people super-cool
1) When you don’t un-tag photos of yourself on facebook (I’m a repeat offender).
2) People who are always smiling, even when things really, really suck. I mean, I have learned how not to complain when things suck, but if you can do that, and do it with a smile on your face, you fucking WIN.
3) People who are young and put themselves out there, thus exposing themselves to negative commentary, and who STILL have the strength to continue putting themselves out there. Props. I was a pussy (I hate that word, but it’s appropriate here) when I was young. Probably still am.
4) People who forgive, in the moment, when it’s required of them. Meaning a person who doesn’t agree with someone else’s choices but has the compassion to forgive and support, nonetheless. You are a good friend and I want you for my own.
5) If you’re anything like my mom or little brother, I think you’re super-cool.
6) People who can accept a compliment, say “thank you,” and not really think much more highly of themselves. It’s hard to do.
I will keep adding to this list, but I’m done for now.
