That’s how much it cost me to vote. I had to take the LIRR home from the city and it was worth every penny. Not even the knowledge that NY always goes blue deterred me from trekking my butt back home. I think part of this has to do with the fact that my mom told me I’d be a “loser” if I didn’t vote. And she’d be totally right.
